I recently had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with @NealSchaffer of Windmill Networking. Neal came to Portland to give a talk at a conference, and asked @JoshuaWaldman to set up a gathering. Joshua asked me if I’d get the word out, so I set up a Portland Twitter Users Group impropmtu Tweet Up and invited all of the members of the Meetup group to join us.
Neal made the video above during the gathering and we had a very good time getting to know each other. This is a perfect example of how online social networking can lead to face-to-face social networking. I’m a huge fan of LinkedIn, and use it often to make solid connections over great distances.

Who was that professional videographer behind the camera?
I think that Neal is still trying to track down the videographer to get him his very healthy check!
